Terms & Conditions

By proceeding with your reservation, you (“Renter”) agree to the following terms:

1. Rental Delivery + Return

  • All equipment is delivered to the address you provide.

  • Renter agrees to leave items in the original delivery location for pickup at the scheduled time.

  • Additional charges may apply for missed pickups or if items are moved without notice.

2. Care + Use

  • Equipment is for personal, recreational use only.

  • Do not leave equipment unattended or outside overnight.

  • Renter is responsible for ensuring all items are protected from theft, damage, or extreme weather.

3. Cleaning + Damage

  • All items must be returned in clean condition.

  • A $25 cleaning fee applies if gear is excessively sandy or dirty.

  • Renter is financially responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen gear. Sample replacement costs:

    • Shibumi Shade: $300

    • Shibumi Beach Chair: $175

    • Cooler: $300

    • Speaker: $200

    • Beach Wagon: $200

4. Payment Authorization

  • By booking, you authorize Bum Beach Rentals to charge your card for:

    • Rental fees

    • Cleaning/damage fees

    • Replacement of lost or stolen items

  • A temporary hold may be placed on your card as a security deposit.

5. Cancellations

  • 48+ hours: Full refund

  • 24–48 hours: 50% refund

  • Less than 24 hours: No refund

  • No refunds due to weather unless beaches are officially closed

6. Liability Waiver

  • Renter assumes all risks associated with equipment use and releases Bum Beach Rentals from liability related to injury, property damage, or loss.
